Can you give us a brief description of your business and how it is going?
I own a coaching firm focused on expatriate and cross-cultural coaching and training. We help expats be more effective and successful in their overseas posts -- both by individual and corporate coaching and cross-cultural training.

What do you like about doing business in your country of residence?
What I like about my business is that it's virtual. That means I can do it from anywhere as long as I have access to the internet.

What do you find most frustrating about doing business in your country of residence?
I feel more distanced from the expatriate community when living in the US so perhaps that's the most frustrating factor.

What hurdles did you encounter when setting up?
None.

How has the economic crisis affected your business?
People are selective as to what they chose to spend their money on -- and at the same time many are beginning to realize what really matters and turn to coaching to find it.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs setting up business in your country of residence?
Find a supportive community of people to champion you.

Would you like to add anything that we haven't addressed in the questionnaire?
As an expat who moves from country to country every three to five years I found it very important to create a business that I can take with me wherever I go. A virtual business makes a lot of things easier, including business set up and logistics.
